Nodectra documentation

Technical documentation for designing, deploying and operating building automation projects with Nodectra.

Nodectra is a project-based building automation platform. Engineers design a system in Development Studio, validate it, and deploy a signed project bundle to Site Runtime. Site Runtime executes the project locally at the building and serves operator applications even when the cloud connection is unavailable.

Product roles

Nodectra Cloud

The SaaS control plane owns organizations, users, projects, subscriptions, engineering revisions and audited deployment workflows.

Nodectra Development Studio

The engineering application opens the full project workspace. It provides object editors, bindings, simulation, validation, agent-assisted proposals and deployment controls. The desktop application connects to the same Studio and adds a local engineering connector for VPN or LAN access.

Nodectra Site Runtime

The site-local execution service runs the active signed bundle, protocols, programs, schedules, alarms, history and operator interfaces. Development Studio is not copied to the building.

Operator applications

Web Station and Client View expose only the operational screens and commands assigned to an operator. They do not expose engineering or Runtime management capabilities.

Documentation describes implemented software behavior unless a page explicitly labels a capability as planned, preview-only or dependent on physical acceptance.

Documentation endpoints

The site publishes searchable HTML for people and two generated text views for tools:

  • /llms.txt — compact documentation index;
  • /llms-full.txt — combined processed documentation;
  • /llms.mdx/docs/... — Markdown representation of an individual page.
