Deploy a project
Validate, sign, transfer and activate a project revision on Site Runtime.
Before deployment
- Select the exact Site Server, Edge Controller or Field Controller target.
- Choose Commissioning or Production mode.
- Resolve validation errors and incompatible bindings.
- Confirm transport access through VPN/LAN or the managed outbound tunnel.
- Verify signing and Runtime trust configuration for Production.
Deployment sequence
Studio creates an immutable project revision and deterministic bundle. The bundle includes integrity metadata and, for Production, a signature. Site Runtime receives it into staging, repeats validation and activates it atomically. The previous active bundle remains available for authenticated rollback.
Portable export is different
A downloaded .bmsbundle.json is a portable project copy. It is not proof that a Runtime received or activated the project, and it is not a native Site Runtime installer.
Acceptance
After activation, verify Runtime revision, mode, health, live Point quality, program outputs, alarm handling, historian sampling and operator commands against the real site.
