Alarms and schedules
Define time-driven behavior and restart-safe alarm evaluation at Site Runtime.
Schedule
Schedules provide time programs, calendars and operating exceptions. Their outputs can bind to programs, automatic Point outputs and other typed consumers.
Alarm Rule
An Alarm Rule evaluates a bound input locally in Site Runtime. Configuration includes threshold, comparison, delay, clear delay, hysteresis, severity, acknowledgement policy and signal-quality behavior.
Occurrences and acknowledgement state are retained in the site-local alarm database. Optional email delivery uses a persistent local queue with bounded retry.
Quality handling
Do not treat a missing or stale value as a normal process value. Configure the intended alarm quality policy and verify it during commissioning by disconnecting or invalidating the real source.
