3D Scene editor
Assemble a multi-level building, place components and bind spatial sensor markers.
3D Scene is a Three.js building editor with levels, connected-wall drawing, automatic room floors, hosted openings, materials and bindable sensors.
Tools
The top selector contains editing tools rather than component types:
- Select — select, inspect and orbit the scene;
- Wall — draw connected wall segments and close a room.
Components live in the library. Drag them into the scene, or select one and click a placement point.
Component library
Architecture
Window, Door, Floor slab, Column, Staircase, Roof and Railing.
Building systems
Air handler, HVAC unit, Fan coil, Air duct, Pipe, Pump, Tank, Electrical panel and Radiator.
Landscape
Tree, Shrub, Landscape rock, Bench, Lamp post and Planter.
Sensors
Temperature, Occupancy, Humidity, CO2, Pressure and Leak detector.
Selection and properties
Click an object in the viewport or Layers panel. The Properties panel edits its name, level, dimensions, position, rotation, color and material. Available materials are Paint, Concrete, Brick, Wood, Glass, Metal, Stone and Grass.
Delete the selected object with Delete or Backspace, the Properties trash action, or Delete object in the right-click menu. Removing a wall also removes its hosted window and door objects.
Wall display modes
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Full | Every wall remains at full height |
| Automatic | Walls facing the camera and side walls are lowered; rear walls remain full |
| Cutaway | Camera-facing and side walls are reduced almost to their base |
| Base only | All walls are shown as low outlines |
Automatic and Cutaway modes provide a room view similar to building games while retaining the real wall geometry in the project.
